The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to conduct the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on January 21, 2024. As the exam date approaches, candidates eagerly await the release of the CTET exam city slip, which is expected to be available on the official website, ctet.nic.in. Although there is no confirmed date for the release of the exam city slip, based on past trends, it is usually made available around 20 days before the scheduled exam date.

Candidates will be able to access their CTET exam city slip through the official website using their login credentials. This slip will provide crucial information about the allotted exam city, enabling candidates to make necessary arrangements for travel and accommodation. It serves as a precursor to the CTET admit card, which is anticipated to be released three days before the exam.

The CTET 2024 exam comprises two papers, namely paper 1 and paper 2, each with a duration of 2.5 hours. Method of Submission of the CTET Online Application Form:

Step 1: The candidates must Log on to the CTET official website i.e https://ctet.nic.in. 
Step 2: After that, click on the “Apply online” option and open it.
Step 3: Fill out the details in the Online Application Form And write down your Application No/Registration No.
Step 4: Upload all the scanned copies of your signature and photograph.
Step 5: You need to pay the examination fee via debit/credit card or by e-challan.
Step 6: Take a printout of the application form for future reference.

CTET Registration Process:

  1. Authentication Form: You must fill out your mandatory details like State, Identification type, Candidate’s Name, Gender and Date of Birth.
  2. Fill the Application Form: Fill out your details and complete the form, submit it. After submission, an Application Number/Registration Number will be generated on the screen. The Registration Number will help you to log in, choose your password accordingly. And, do not share your password with anyone.
  3. Upload the Scanned Photograph, Images.
  • Upload the scanned copy of your signature and photograph.
  • You must upload the scanned images in JPEG/JPG format.
  • 10 to 100 KB is the perfect size for a scanned photograph.
  • 3.5cm (width) to 4cm (height) is the mandatory image dimension.
  • 3 to 30KB is the perfect size of the scanned signature.

IES (UPSC ESE) Eligibility for the 2024 Exam

The candidate sitting in the exam must be : (a) an Indian citizen, (b) A Bhutanese subject, a Nepalese subject, or (d) a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962.

What is the selection procedure for IES (UPSC ESE) 2024?

The IES selection is based on two stages:

Written Examination: It’s the first stage in the ESE/IES 2024 application process. Those who want to get selected, have to clear both IES Prelims and IES Mains exams. For the preliminary exam, General ability and Engineering subjects are two components. The only candidate who qualifies the paper 1 and paper 2 of the preliminary exam, will sit in the IES Mains exam.

Personality Assessment by IES (Interview)

The candidate who qualifies for both prelims and mains will be invited to take part in the IES personality test. The personality interview round will be 200 points. After the applicant has cleared the personality test, his/her documents and eligibility will be tested.
